| Duties of the Association
|

The duties of the Association are:
- To formulate, adopt and adhere to a Code of Conduct to regulate the operation of the members of the Association;
- To ensure through the Code of Conduct that the operations of its members as far as such operations relate to employment agency services, are carried out in a lawful and proper manner;
- To offer guidance and counseling and pre-departure orientation services to jobseekers leaving the country, support and follow-up services to migrant workers, and re-orientation services to migrant workers returning to the country;
- To establish a secretariat and set up an office;
- To develop a database of private employment agencies, prospective employees and persons recruited, placed or employed for use by the members of the Association, jobseekers, the Government of Kenya and any interested partners;
- To maintain a register of all migrants recruited or placed through its members to be available for inspection by the Government of Kenya;
- To determine, in consultation with the members and the relevant government authorities, the fees to be charged by the members of the Association for the services rendered to employers, jobseekers, migrant workers or any other party;
- To avail a copy of this Constitution to every member under such conditions as may be determined by the members.
